Support
If a page is unclear, something is not working or you need help finding a feature, email us. You do not need to sign in to ask for help with DeputyWise.
Contact us
Tell us which page you were using, what you were trying to do and what happened instead. Include when the problem occurred, your browser or device type and the wording of any error message, without personal information. If you cannot sign in, say so; never send your password.
A short description is usually enough to start. Keep passwords, bank statements, court orders and the client's personal or financial details out of support emails. Remove personal information from any screenshots before sharing them.
What to expect
Email is our channel for application support. Response times are not guaranteed; use the urgent-help contacts below for matters that need immediate attention.
Questions about your deputyship duties
We can help you organise your records, use DeputyWise features and prepare information for your own review. Contact the OPG for guidance about your deputyship duties. If you need help interpreting your order or making a legal, financial or tax decision, seek independent professional advice from an appropriately qualified adviser. Our support helps you use the tool alongside that advice.
Privacy or account security concerns
If you think information was shown to the wrong person or your account was accessed without permission, email us with a brief description and when you noticed it. Keep exposed records, passwords and sign-in codes out of the email. Our privacy page explains the application data protection arrangements and their review status.
If someone needs urgent help
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 rather than waiting for application support. For a safeguarding concern that is not an emergency, contact the relevant local authority safeguarding team.
Practical experience from other deputies
DeputyCo is building a peer community for lay deputies to share experience and encouragement. Visit its community page to learn about taking part. Keep client information anonymous, and seek independent professional advice where a question needs specialist expertise.
