Privacy notice
Keeping deputyship records means handling information about you and the person you support with care. Here you can find information about who operates DeputyWise, the records it is designed to support and how to contact us about your privacy.
Who operates DeputyWise
DeputyWise is a DeputyCo product operated by Flux2Fusion Software Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 04316527. Its registered office is 36 New Yatt Road, Witney, England, OX28 1NZ.
Flux2Fusion Software Limited has Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) registration Z8321298. Registration does not mean that the ICO has approved DeputyWise.
Information in your deputyship records
Records can include your account and contact details, details of the person you support, your deputyship and reporting period, accounts, income, spending, assets, gifts and decisions. Supporting documents can include receipts, bank statements, court orders and correspondence. These records may also identify other people.
Court orders and other documents may contain information about health or capacity, which needs particular protection. Include information relevant to your deputyship records and keep sensitive documents out of ordinary support email.
Why the application needs information
DeputyWise uses the information you record to organise your deputyship records, track relevant dates and prepare annual-report information. Account and technical information also support sign-in, access controls and operation of the service.
Keeping and deleting records
Closing an account does not automatically erase every record. Some records may need to be kept to meet legal obligations, even after an account closes. Contact us if you have questions about keeping or deleting your information.
Early-access sign-ups
The early-access sign-up form is hosted on DeputyCo. Its privacy notice covers the information you submit through that form; it does not cover deputyship records in DeputyWise.
Questions about personal data
Email us with privacy questions or concerns. Describe the issue without naming the person you support or attaching personal or financial records. We can then discuss the appropriate next step.
You can contact us about access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, or concerns about its use. Which rights apply depends on the information and the legal basis for using it. You also have the right to raise a concern with the ICO.
